Job Description

**Contract position**

Our client is on the lookout for an Administrative Assistant to become part of their dynamic team. This role presents an exciting chance for a self-assured individual with a proactive mindset. Reporting directly to the Head of US Research, the position involves managing travel arrangements, overseeing calendar schedules, handling expense reports, drafting various correspondences, among other tasks.

The perfect candidate will be a personable and energetic professional with strong integrity, capable of representing the US R&D Group with professionalism while engaging with peers, colleagues, and Leadership both locally and globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

 Must possess a team attitude and great people skills.

 Oversee the calendar for the Head of US Research

 Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestic and global

 Manage expense reporting by preparing and submitting expense reports,

often including complex international travel-related transactions.

 Experience interacting with senior levels of leadership effectively.

 Responsible for drafting communications on behalf of the Head of US

Research and engaging with business partners around the world.

 Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity; demonstrated experience with

handling confidential and non-routine information.

 Demonstrated experience handling multiple tasks concurrently and making

quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

 Coordination and logistics support of meetings and events, both on and off-

site.

 Support the preparation of materials for meetings.

 Proficient in MS Office suite skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

 Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 3 plus years of professional administrative experience in a rapidly growing

organization.

 Prior experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
