Job Description

Crane Company (craneco.com) has an opportunity available for a Captain to join our Corporate Aircraft Team . This position is responsible to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the company's corporate jet.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the company aircraft
  • Make all necessary preflight preparations including flight planning, weather briefing, weight and balance, fuel calculations and aircraft documentation
  • Act as PIC or SIC on worldwide executive flights
  • Maintain qualifications and currency as PIC of company aircraft
  • Comply with all regulations, company policies and aircraft limitations
  • Actively participate in the department’s Safety Management System
  • Provide exceptional passenger service
  • Contact with Chief Pilot regarding daily operational requirements
  • Contact with Chief of Maintenance concerning aircraft airworthiness status
  • Contact with principals and associates concerning problems and issues as they arise
  • Exercise supervisory responsibility over contract pilots as needed
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Chief Pilot

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot license
  • Current FAA First Class medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • 5,000 hours of flight experience, 1000 Hours as PIC
  • Falcon 7X Type rating - or equivalent
  • International operations experience
  • Must be able to legally work in the US and possess the ability to travel freely to/from the US
  • FAA Pilot record free of violations or enforcements
  • Must be flexible and available to work weekdays, nights and weekends as required
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Commutable to Westchester County Airport located in White Plains, NY

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Falcon 7X type rating
  • Corporate flight department experience
