**Job Title: Welder and Fitter** Job Description We are seeking Welder/Fitters with any level of welding experience to join our team. This role involves working on commercial construction sites and requires basic welding skills. This role will have 10 hours of overtime built in each week with a start time of 6:30 AM each day. Candidates will be expected to work from the shop each day located in Rowley, MA. Pay rates will range from $18 - $25 depending on experience with various forms of welding. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits! Responsibilities + Layout steel per shop drawings. + Mark steel with AWS welding symbols prior to welding. + Tack weld parts per approved shop drawing. + Weld steel following shop drawing and inspected fit-up piece marks. Essential Skills + Trade/Technical welding program experience. + Ability to produce quality welds per specifications using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, STUD processes. + Reliable transportation to the worksite. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core Arc welding. + Exposure to the welding trade, such as trade school or on-the-job training. Work Environment The work environment includes a large shop with loud machinery operating at all times. The shift is from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with availability on weekends. Employees will work outdoors, exposed to the elements, and should be prepared for cold weather by dressing appropriately.
