• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
• Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation - National Agency Check with Lawand Credit Check, and fingerprints. (Standard Form 85).
• Estimated Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 yearly (negotiable based on experience).
• Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.
• Period of Performance: 30 September 2025 29 May 2027 (Option to Extend Services)
• Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
• Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays.
• Travel: Travel is anticipated under this effort .

Summary of Services:

The Senior Software Engineer will support the Aeromedical Consultation and Medical Flight Screening Division in reviewing risk analysis for USAF-rated aircrews who have developed complex or unusual health conditions and provide comprehensive assessments and medical care plans to return flyers to flight.

Working Hours

The Senior Software Engineer's working hours will be from 0730 to 1630, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays, unless the Contracting Officer Representative stipulates otherwise. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or an extremely related field.
• Be a qualified software engineer.
• Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in Python
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in JavaScript.
• Demonstrate experience with the Scrum Process.
• Demonstrate experience with Git Source Control.
• Demonstrate experience with UNIX systems.
• Demonstrate experience of basic networking (OSI model layers 3 & 4).
• Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. The NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager at the start of performance.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with a team of data scientists to develop novel dashboards to enable interaction with AI technologies.
• Experience with Flask Web Serving Library in Python.
• Experience with SQL Alchemy ORM library in Python.
• Experience with HTML/CSS.
• Experience with web application development in any capacity.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with SQL and Databases.
• Experience working with software engineers to develop novel dashboards to enable interaction with AI technologies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of a web application that hosts a suite of predictive analytics.
• Be able to demonstrate their knowledge in actual code.
• Be able to demonstrate writing a web application independently.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to visualize data.
• Be able to demonstrate visualizing hierarchical data structures.
• Obtain HIPAA training upon performance of work.
• Maintain HIPAA standards and prevent data leaks
