About the Role

We are hiring a licensed residential electrician in the St. Augustine/Jacksonville area to join our team! Responsibilities

The licensed residential electrician will:

• Support Treehouse customers in the greater Jacksonville, FL area as a hands-on installer of residential electrification equipment, including energy storage systems, EV chargers and panel upgrades
• Coordinate and supervise electrical inspections of installed equipment related to residential electrification, ensuring installation accuracy, efficiency, and throughput according to company goals
• Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines and ensure all work meets safety standards and is up to code in field work and collect, maintain, and demonstrate understanding of electrical installation inspection documentation
• Organize and maintain vehicle inventory to ensure alignment with and efficiency in meeting all installation requirements and purchase, deliver, and organize installation inventory

Minimum Qualifications

Successful licensed residential electrician candidates will demonstrate:

• Actively licensed as an electrician in the state of Florida
• 5 or more years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least half of all career experience in the residential electrical trade
• Strong working knowledge of national and regional electrical codes

Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, licensed residential electrician candidates may demonstrate:

• 8 or more years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 4 years in the residential electrical trade
• Residential service work preferred, with a focus and understanding of the challenges of electrifying older homes in the St. Augustine area without the ability to fully overhaul existing infrastructure
• An independent self-starter capable of completing projects without significant oversight or training and who can solve problems proactively
• An ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• An interest in continuous growth and improvement

The pay rate for this position is expected to be between $34.00 - $37.00 per hour. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications.
