We are representing a rapidly growing Heavy Civil Contractor based in Colorado, known for delivering complex infrastructure projects with excellence and integrity. As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Position Summary:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in the field and receive direct mentorship from an experienced Project Manager. The Project Engineer will play a key role in the planning and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of civil construction projects focused on water/wastewater infrastructure, wet utilities, excavation, and mass earthwork
• Support the Project Manager with scheduling, cost tracking, and subcontractor coordination
• Participate in on-site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Collaborate with field teams, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Internship or entry-level experience in heavy civil construction (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
