Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Billing Specialist to join an established team in the Hamilton, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining compliance with established procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of billing systems and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities: - Prepare and issue accurate invoices in accordance with organizational and client guidelines. - Monitor and manage billing collections to ensure timely payments. - Review and reconcile billing statements for discrepancies and errors. - Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline processes and maintain records. - Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly. - Maintain compliance with legal and financial regulations related to billing practices. - Generate reports and provide updates on billing activities to relevant stakeholders. - Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in billing operations. Requirements ELECTRONIC BILLING EXPERIENCE is REQUIRED - Proven experience in billing functions, preferably in a legal or detail-oriented services setting. - Familiarity with billing collections and best practices for managing payments. - Proficiency in preparing and reviewing billing statements with attention to detail. - Hands-on experience with computerized billing systems and software. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Knowledge of legal and financial compliance standards. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Ability to analyze data and identify trends to enhance billing processes.
