Job Description

Assist the Vice President/CFO with all HR related duties including accurately processing payroll. Primary duties will include the hiring and termination process, maintaining employee files, handing all benefits and health insurance enrollments and terminations, time card administration. This position works closely with the Accounting team and other departments.

Good listening skills. Basic computer skills & telephone skills with strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Strong oral communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Strong ethical practice.

5 years of experience of supporting Human Resources focusing on conflict resolution, and resolve workplace conflicts. 2 years experience with payroll processing.

Responsibilities

BASIC EDUCATION, SKILL, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School education.
  • 5+ years' employee relations with strong conflict resolutions skills required.
  • At least 1 year processing payroll experience using Paylocity software system required.
  • Administer on-boarding and termination processing.
  • Maintain employee files.
  • Timecard administration for non-exempt employees.
  • Legal compliance administration.
  • Leaves of absence administration.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Administer bi-annual compliance trainings.
  • Must have a good understanding of HR policies and payroll processing.
  • Basic computer and telephone skills with strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence.
  • Requires strong ethical skills and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to plan and execute day-to-day activities with limited guidance or direction, does not need to be micro-managed.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be a U.S. Person under the requirements of ITAR.
  • Prior work experience in the printed circuit board industry is preferred but is not a requirement for this position.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
