Job Description

At EōS Fitness, Facilities Technicians play a critical role in delivering on our Core Purpose: “To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners,” by ensuring our clubs provide a high-value experience to members and guests. Facilities Technicians lead the maintenance and repair of both the fitness facility and its equipment, supporting the operational excellence of multiple locations. We are looking for energetic, dependable professionals with excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment.

Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.

Expectations and Duties:

General Responsibilities

• Oversee 4-6 clubs, ensuring building systems and fitness equipment operate at peak efficiency.

• Manage and close tickets in FMX, maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

• Provide support for projects and coverage during vacancies or PTO as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized inventory for tools, parts, and materials.

Preventative Maintenance and Repairs

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building systems, fitness equipment, massage chairs, hydro beds, drink coolers, and other club assets.

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs, including but not limited to:

• Plumbing fixtures

• Light fixtures and bulb replacement

• HVAC units, sensors, and thermostats

• AV systems/TVs

• Flooring, wall finishes, and millwork

• Door handles, trim, and hardware

• Pool mechanics and filters

• Complete required manufacturer certifications (may involve out-of-state travel).

Vendor Management

• Provide onsite management for vendors and local service providers.

• Ensure vendor work meets company standards and deadlines.

Team Collaboration

• Support large equipment repairs requiring two technicians.

• Work closely with club teams and leadership to ensure smooth operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Building Systems: 3-5 years of building maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.

Equipment Expertise: 3+ years of mechanical work experience, preferably with fitness equipment.

• Experience in fitness facility maintenance is preferred.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

Certifications: CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to multiple job locations.
