Director of Rooms | Boutique Luxury Hotels – East Coast

An exceptional opportunity awaits a Director of Rooms to oversee operations for two celebrated boutique luxury hotels— one a reimagined Palm Beach icon , the other a newly opened seasonal retreat in the Hamptons. These properties are independently owned and known for their charm, design-forward ethos, and loyal clientele. Both are actively elevating toward Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star standards , and this role will play a pivotal part in that journey.

This dual-property position requires a thoughtful and experienced Rooms professional who thrives in independent, high-touch settings and can lead with poise, creativity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all aspects of Rooms Division operations across both locations, ensuring consistency in service excellence
• Lead, train, and develop teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security
• Implement and refine Forbes-level service standards and guest touchpoints
• Address guest feedback with immediacy and care, ensuring a seamless luxury experience
• Work closely with ownership and executive leadership on strategic initiatives
• Maintain operational compliance and optimize departmental budgets
• Travel seasonally between the two properties based on business needs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Boutique luxury background with 8+ years in Rooms leadership roles at independent hotels
• Strong working knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide service expectations
• Hands-on, guest-facing leader with a refined and intuitive approach
• Agile operator who can adapt to distinct markets and seasonal business patterns
• Track record of building cohesive teams and leading by example

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
• Proven experience in dual-property or multi-outlet hotel operations a plus
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage departmental P&Ls
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus

Compensation & Perks:

• $140,000 – $150,000 base salary + performance bonus
