Job Description

Schmidt Facial Plastic Surgery, a state-of-the-art plastic surgery practice located in Englewood, Colorado is seeking a growth-focused, innovative Director of Operations to play an integral role in driving the implementation of an expansion strategy executing the growth plans for the practice. Led by Dr. Jeffrey Schmidt, an award-winning, double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, we’re a highly collaborative team that provides our patients with world-class cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures as well as non-surgical facial rejuvenation services. Dr. Schmidt’s proven results and our team’s dedication to top-notch patient care allowed us to almost double our revenue from 2019 to 2021, with sustained growth ensuing years as we continue to build our team and serve more patients throughout Colorado.

The Director of Operations will be a proven leader who will take initiative and implement strategies to grow the practice, serve as the top professional on the business and operations side of the house, and partner with team to ensure that the office runs as smoothly as the operating room. The Director of Operations will be a face and voice of the practice who will focus not only on developing and managing the practice through strategic hiring, marketing, and business development, but will also demonstrate a willingness to jump in and assist the team wherever needed. In addition, as the Director of Operations, your input and insights will be highly valued by Dr. Schmidt and the team, and we’ll encourage you to present creative, new systems and initiatives that will aid the practice and improve the patient’s experience.

What will you get?

  • $150,000-$200,000 total annual compensation including incentives, depending on level of experience.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive bonuses, contingent upon individual performance and practice revenue.
  • Eligibility for partial compensation of health insurance and other benefits.

What are the requirements and qualifications desired for this role?

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, with a strong preference for candidates with an MBA and MHA.
  • Minimum 8 years (preferably 10+ years) of management and leadership experience in a medical facility and/or luxury/hospitality industry, preferably in a successful aesthetic medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and cosmetic plastic surgery practice.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in human resources, financial management, business development, and marketing.
  • Strong investment and commitment to the practice and desire to provide recommendations to Dr. Schmidt with the shared vision of expanding the practice and delivering superior service to patients.
