Job Description

Title: Clinical Trial Associate

Location: Hybrid 3 days per week in Redwood City, CA

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to support their clinical trial teams. This individual will assist with various aspects of clinical study execution, including site management, trial start-up, interim monitoring, and closeout activities. The role requires adherence to clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs), study protocols, and applicable regulatory guidelines, including ICH GCP and CFR.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support for clinical trials in alignment with regulatory requirements, SOPs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage trial-related supplies, including preparation, shipping, inventory tracking, and oversight.
  • Assist in the creation of materials for investigator meetings, internal team meetings, and study manuals.
  • Track study-specific documents such as regulatory filings, site enrollment, activation status, and sample logistics.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of trial-specific tools and trackers.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and preparing meeting minutes.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the clinical team and overall project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
  • Familiarity with clinical research regulations and guidelines (e.g., ICH GCP) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of the clinical trial and drug development process.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
