Vaco is currently hiring for a Buyer to join a growing team in Waukesha County. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company experiencing rapid growth and change-perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Analyze requisitions and review specifications in the ERP system (SAP)
• 
  Issue RFQs and negotiate favorable terms with vendors
• 
  Collaborate with subcontractors for technical components
• 
  Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• 
  Follow up on purchase orders to ensure vendor compliance and delivery
• 
  Maintain vendor records and evaluate performance
• 
  Support supplier visits, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 
  2-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience (manufacturing preferred)
• 
  Associates degree required
• 
  Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
• 
  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
