**Job Summary**
The Area Freight Operations Manager I is responsible for Freight Forwarding facility operations. He/She manages the processing of inbound and outbound domestic and international freight shipments and ensures governmental regulations and compliance requirements are met. This position manages the facility profit and loss (P&L) process, ensures proper staffing and expense controls, and supports revenue generation and business development activities. He/She monitors and ensures safety compliance and conducts facility and equipment safety and safety compliance training. This position oversees facility environmental management and ensures dangerous goods and hazardous materials shipments are properly handled. This position manages supervisors, specialists, and hourly employees within the department.

**Pay Range:**
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $97,440.00/year to $158,340.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
