JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for accounts receivable, collecting and receipting the money, quarterly licensing review and various other accounting tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Process and allocate credit card expenses accurately across departments and projects
• Review and record employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
• Manage shipping invoices, verifying accuracy and coding to appropriate accounts
• Prepare and track band comps billing in coordination with relevant departments
• Provide general assistance to the Accounting team as needed, supporting special projects and month-end close activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL

• HS Diploma/ GED
• 1–2 years of accounting or administrative experience preferred
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently with strong communication skills
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Business Central, NetSuite) a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
• Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
