Job Title: Wholesale Account Director

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Reports To: Head of Product and Merchandising

Travel: Domestic

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Account Director to drive growth across Lola Blanket’s wholesale channels, including department stores, specialty retailers, travel outlets, and resort boutiques. This fully remote position is ideal for a sales professional with a strong track record of account expansion, relationship management, and market development. Experience in luxury goods is a plus, but not required.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—capable of identifying and onboarding new wholesale partners, nurturing store-level performance, and using data to inform decisions and optimize growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Growth & Development

  • Proactively identify, pitch, and secure new wholesale partners across department stores, ecommerce platforms, specialty shops, travel retail, and resort channels.
  • Drive organic growth within existing accounts through strategic upselling, assortment planning, seasonal initiatives, and field performance.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale partners, ensuring consistent communication, brand alignment, and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular in-store visits and virtual touchpoints to support training, merchandising, and product education.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze weekly/monthly sell-through and reorder performance by account.
  • Provide insights to internal teams (e.g., merchandising, planning, operations) to optimize product allocation and replenishment.
  • Partner with marketing to support sell-in/sell-through tools, visual collateral, and co-branded opportunities.

Training & In-Store Support

  • Lead product training sessions for store associates to ensure strong product knowledge and enthusiasm at the point of sale.
  • Collaborate with store teams to enhance visual merchandising and support seasonal launches or trunk shows.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of wholesale sales or account management experience, preferably with exposure to multiple channels (department, specialty, travel, resort).
  • Proven track record of growing wholesale revenue through new account development and expansion of existing partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, CRM platforms).
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with EDI and product catalogue platforms or other B2B order management tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 25–40%) for account meetings, trade shows, store visits, and brand onsites.

Preferred but Not Required:
