Insight Global is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager for our leading 3rd party logistics company in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all shipping and receiving
• Ensure that all work is distributed equally between staff for efficiency
• Review workload to ensure proper staffing
• Perform accurate physical inventory when required
• Ensure that all warehouse supplies are available to complete warehouse daily task
• Open and close (alarm) warehouse on a daily basis
• Yard and warehouse clean
• Inventory freight consolidation
• Ensure new warehouse staff is properly trained including temporary laborers
• Communicate effectively with upper Management any issues/concerns
• Responsible for reporting employee errors/deficiencies to management
• Ensure employees comply and are up to date with Warehousing Training Program
• Present positive atmosphere for all employees
• Conduct weekly cycle counts on random clients

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 7 years of experience warehouse environment
• 5 years of leadership minimum
• Experience managing 9-12 direct reports
• WMS experience (Acccellos preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Works well under pressure and takes ownership of responsibilities

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3PL logistics background - HIGHLY preferred
• Bilingual - HIGHLY Preferred
• FTZ facilities (foreign trade zone) experience
