Job Description

What you'll be able to do:

We are seeking Construction Inspectors with bridge and highway experience for numerous positions in Syracuse, NY starting in Spring 2025. Construction Inspectors are responsible for overseeing and inspecting highway and bridge construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your construction inspection career working on a multifaceted project.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • NICET I, II, or III certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on highway or bridge construction projects.
  • Experience using NYSDOT Site Manager or proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • ACI Certified
  • OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to Syracuse area construction sites.
