About the Role:
We’re looking for a **Senior Accountant** to join our close-knit team. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and ready to take ownership of accounting and tax projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for business clients
* Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries
* Conduct year-end closings and prepare workpapers for audits or reviews
* Communicate directly with clients to provide financial insights and advice
* Mentor junior staff and assist in training when needed
* Stay up to date on federal and state tax laws and accounting best practices
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
* 3+ years of public accounting experience
* Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax preparation software
* Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism
