Job Description

Job Title: Access Control Administrative & Vehicle Liaison Technician

Location: Multiple entry points at MCB Camp Lejeune / MCAS New River

Hours: Monday–Friday, 0500–1530 EST (excluding Federal Holidays)

Clearance Required: NACI

Overview:

Supports the secure and efficient access of commercial vehicles and visitors by screening documentation, entering and verifying data, issuing passes, and coordinating escorts in accordance with military base policies and privacy protocols.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and process base access applications and vehicle registration forms.
  • Issue temporary access passes while maintaining accurate accountability logs.
  • Utilize and update DBIDS, CLEOC, and other authorized databases.
  • Operate office equipment (scanner, fax, copier) and manage multiple workstations.
  • Greet and assist visitors/contractors at various vetting stages.
  • Direct CVs at access points and staging lots using radios and safety gear.
  • Maintain and turn in daily status logbooks per COR-provided templates.
  • Coordinate with escorts, validate their credentials, and safely release commercial traffic.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in administrative or security roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with database tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand outdoors for long periods, manage foot/vehicle traffic safely.
