We’re Shakuff, a Brooklyn-based, internationally recognized bespoke lighting studio known for our unique handcrafted glass fixtures and collaborative approach. Our work lives in private residences, high-end hotels, aviator , and some of the most interesting spaces around the world. We’re looking for someone to join our small, passionate team. Someone with great design sensibility, and a passion for closing meaningful sales.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales & Design Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our team, responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships across the interior design, architecture, hospitality, and real estate industries. You’ll work with high-end clients from first spark to finished piece, helping them create stunning custom lighting fixtures that transform their spaces.

You’ll be equal parts creative collaborator and savvy closer, someone who knows how to make clients feel seen while moving projects forward. From Zoom consultations to showroom meetings, you’ll present with warmth, follow through with care, and bring your own flair to the Shakuff experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and manage your own client portfolio while meeting monthly and annual sales goals
• Present to and consult with new and existing clients, in person and via Zoom
• Collaborate with our internal design and production teams to create tailored lighting proposals
• Facilitate orders, manage project details, and ensure clients feel taken care of throughout the entire process
• Track leads, follow up, and contribute to a high-performing, design-savvy team

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of sales experience in high-end furnishings, luxury goods, lighting, interiors, or design-adjacent industries
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities and skilled at building rapport and maintaining client relationships
• Appreciation for design, materials, and helping clients bring their vision to life
• A self-starter mentality, ability to stay organized, and follow through with care
• Comfort working independently, collaboratively, and with evolving priorities

COMPENSATION

$80-100K OTE
