Job Description
We are hiring for a part-time Safety Manager to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis to maintain site safety coverage. This is a contract (W-2) role expected to run through 2027. Night shift schedule from 9:00PM-5:00AM.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain site safety coverage when full-time safety staff are out of office
- Implement and maintain site safety plan
- Conduct safety inductions for all contractor and subcontracted staff
- Execute daily and weekly safety inspections, reports, and corrects findings
- Ensure that subcontractors have all required permits to work
- Organize weekly safety discussion for contractor site team
- Collect worked hours for contractor and subcontractor teams and generate monthly reports
- Investigate and report any incidents
- Generate Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Work Method Statements (WMS)
Requirements:
- 8+ years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 500
- CHST certification a plus
- Must be available to start as soon as compliant (background screening can sometimes take up to 2 weeks)
- Must live within a commutable distance to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
