RENTAL MANAGER

Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of Rentals Manager. The role will be responsible for the overall management of an organized and professional environment of our ski, snowboard, and safety equipment. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized, and comfortable in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be capable of managing customer and employee relations. The position requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as the utmost integrity, reliability, and flexibility. This position is Winter Seasonal, Full-time.

 -Responsibilities

• Manages ski and snowboard rental operations
• Handles pre-season and post-season inventory testing and maintenance
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the facilities
• Establishes and maintains equipment inventory and damages 
• Aids in the recruitment of potential employees
• Manages employee paperwork and filing
• Handles weekly scheduling and payroll needs for department
• Conducts employee assessments 
• Administers company guidelines
• Maintains rental equipment and records 
• Focuses on profitability for all rental operations
• Effectively communicate with customers in a high volume environment
• Work with other resort employees to plan and implement group and individual customer needs

-Requirements or Qualifications

• Experience in ski and snowboard equipment rentals
• Knowledge of resort industry and passion for outdoor recreation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient time management skills and ability to multitask
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing operational needs
• Proficiency with point of sales software
• Customer service related experience
• Experience with rental equipment maintenance and upkeep
• Equipment certifications a plus (Rossignol Skis and Burton Snowboards)
• 4-wheel drive/AWD/snow chains required
