Our client, a federally qualified healthcare center, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Vaccination Supervisor to lead and manage the vaccination program.
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daytime Hours.
Compensation:
Annual salary : $100,000

Job Summary:
The Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as the Vaccination Supervisor. This position will oversee the administration of vaccines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a team of healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
The Position :
Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Projects Manager, the RN will be responsible for the functions listed below.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise all vaccine LPNs and the vaccination program at all sites.
- Coordinate vaccine supplies.
- Manage medication inventory and ordering on behalf of providers.
- Reporting, ordering, and returning of vaccines for the VFC program and other vaccine programs.
- Administer vaccinations to patients and staff as needed.
- Participate and oversee vaccine excursions as needed.
- Manage the Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR):
- Manage vaccine lots at each site.
- Oversee the removal of expired or used up vaccines.
- Add/remove users as appropriate.
- Conduct annual re-enrollment at each site.
- Place monthly/quarterly orders for each site.
- Monitor “active” children of the clinics.
- Report staff flu vaccine compliance to NYS DOHMH annually during flu season.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Projects Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pediatric experience required.
- Must have vaccine administration and program experience.
- Substantive work with the CIR.
- Supervisory and clinical experience
- EMR experience
License and Certification:
- Current New York State RN license
- Valid basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification (CPR)
Languages :
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
