Registered Nurse – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus) Location: Tracy, CA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days Pay: $2,356/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team. This role is responsible for providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. The RN will monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure patient safety during the critical post-operative phase. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and manage pain effectively.
• Respond promptly to post-operative complications and emergencies.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe recovery.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Licensure: Current RN license in [State].

* Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)

* Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of PACU, critical care, or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and pain management techniques.
