Radiation Therapist, Small Hospital in; Glenwood Springs, Colorado
4- 10 hour shifts (no weekends, no on call)
Our Client is a leading cancer treatment facility in the Rockies, the Cancer Center is home to a nationally-renowned, highly-skilled, innovative and respected team of providers with accreditations for the most advanced technologies and cancer treatment options in the country.
They are equipped with one Varian True Beam linear accelerator, an Elekta Flexitron HDR after loader, superficial x-ray unit, and a departmental CT simulation with 4D capabilities. The clinical scope of our practice is wide with treatments and techniques including VMAT, SRS, SBRT, DIBH, HDR brachytherapy, LDR brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals.
The Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a Full-Time Radiation Therapist to join our Team.
Experience:
Experience in the area of Radiation Oncology is preferred, but not required. We are considering all levels of experience for this position.
Skills:
Working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations pertaining to radiation therapy
Ability to interpret and deliver treatments per plans and relevant treatment protocols
