Contract Opportunity: Project Coordinator – Change Control

Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

Duration: Long-term contract

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly W2 rate

We’re supporting a well-regarded utility provider in the Pacific Northwest in hiring a Project Coordinator to support enterprise-level change control processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, is detail-oriented, and is experienced with IT workflows and documentation.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Review and validate change documentation including testing results, implementation plans, and rollback strategies
  • Use risk assessment tools to determine change approval workflows
  • Coordinate with testing and implementation teams to confirm readiness
  • Track change implementation outcomes and ensure complete documentation within internal systems (ITSM)
  • Communicate approval decisions and support Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews
  • Help maintain compliance with internal policies and audit standards

The right candidate will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a project coordination, operations, or IT support role
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and change control processes
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines and deadlines
  • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred, not required)
