We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating with key team members to gather critical information, managing production schedules, and ensuring seamless communication with customers through weekly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect and verify production-related information, including Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), and other scheduling details.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Create, analyze, and distribute weekly reports to customers, providing updates on production status and delivery timelines.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage inventory, track production costs, and generate financial reports.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other functions, to analyze data and optimize planning processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve any issues that may impact timelines or quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production plans, inventory levels, and customer communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of [Insert Years] years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other data analysis tools.
