Job Description

As a Product Owner for the Campaign Product at Cequens, you will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of our campaign management solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that enhance user engagement and drive effective communication campaigns. Your expertise in product management, combined with a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and customer engagement strategies, will be crucial in evolving our product to meet and exceed market needs.

Key Roles and Responsibiities:

  • Define the product vision, road-map, and growth opportunities for the Campaign Product.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and engineering teams, to prioritize and deliver product features that align with business goals.

  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.

  • Create and manage the product backlog, and continuously prioritize based on changing requirements.

  • Oversee the development stages and act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market, and competition.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.

  • Provide detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.

  • Advocate for the customer by building impactful, personal customer relationships to ensure that our product is aligned with their needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in product management.

  • Strong experience in digital marketing or campaign management tools.

  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.

  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
  • Experience with CPaaS or communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in effective communication and digital marketing strategies.
