Plant Manager – High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)

Our client is a global leader in aluminum die casting and the machining of complex components, supplying major OEMs and Tier 1 automotive customers. With a strong international footprint and multiple production sites worldwide, the company is investing in operational excellence to drive sustainable growth, improve cost efficiency, and scale its presence in new markets.

We are seeking a high-impact Plant Manager with a strong focus on  operations, manufacturing processes , and  team leadership . This role is critical in leading a key facility through the next phase of performance improvement, cultural development, and strategic alignment.

• Full operational and P&L leadership for a major production site (200+ employees, >$100M in revenue)
• Drive continuous improvement across HPDC, CNC machining, surface treatment, quality, and logistics
• Establish and manage KPIs for productivity, cost, quality, and delivery
• Build and lead a performance-driven operations team focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Lead cultural and structural change initiatives with a hands-on, people-focused approach
• Collaborate with group-level leadership and other plant managers to implement global best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (MBA or business acumen preferred)
• 10+ years of leadership experience in  automotive manufacturing , preferably in  HPDC or  precision machining
• Strong operational background with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, IATF 16949, and KPI-driven performance management
• Proven track record managing large teams and delivering measurable improvements in complex production environments
• Experience in change management and plant transformation, ideally in legacy or underperforming operations
• Comfortable navigating international group structures and cross-functional collaboration

• Base salary: $210,000 – $230,000
