Payments Compliance Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (flexible hybrid schedule)

Department: Compliance

Reports To: Payments Compliance Manager

Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking compliance, audit, or risk management; experience in a regulated financial institution is strongly preferred

Essential Functions:

• Review internal controls, policies, marketing materials, and business practices for compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., Reg E, GLBA, UDAAP, BSA/AML, OFAC)
• Conduct compliance monitoring and testing across business lines and third-party activities
• Assist in regulatory change management and risk assessments
• Draft and update compliance policies, procedures, and training content
• Partner with Legal and other internal stakeholders to provide practical, risk-based compliance guidance
• Track findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to explain complex regulations clearly and concisely
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of banking products and applicable regulatory requirements
