We are seeking a part-time Rabbi to provide religious services, pastoral care, and education for Jewish recruits at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. You will guide, teach, and support individuals in line with Jewish doctrine, while working in a respectful, pluralistic military environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide pastoral care, including counseling, spiritual guidance, and volunteer oversight.
· Conduct weekly Jewish services every Sunday, plus six special holiday services annually:
· Deliver religious education sessions for Jewish recruits, maintaining attendance and participation records.
· Keep logs of pastoral care activities and prepare quarterly reports summarizing topics, attendance, and feedback.
· Collaborate with chaplains, military personnel, and staff in a pluralistic environment.
The Person
· Ordained Rabbi in good standing, verified by a letter from a recognized rabbinical authority.
· Relationship with Aleph or the Jewish Welfare Board (or willingness to establish one within six months).
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a diverse environment.
· Successful background check (local, state, national) within the past 12 months.
