Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, OurNationalConversation.org, seeks to reduce partisanship and get America talking again. We are completely nonpartisan, focused on solutions and powered by youth.
We are seeking someone wto help raise money for our nonprofit, OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION.
There is no pay at this time; if you are a student, you will be doing this for the learning experience. You will also earn a success fee (10%) for actual monies raised.
We have a long list of prospective donors we think are good candidates (1500, total). That's a long list and it will take a while to work through this. You'll be assigned your piece of the list to work on. You will be part of a team, but we all work independently, virtually. There is a weekly meeting at 3:30 p.m. PST you will need to attend.
We have written up all the verbiage. As you apply to grants, you can pretty much "copy and paste" our approved language into the right boxes on the forms. We do want to tailor each grant application a bit, based on what we know about the foundation.
We are doing something good for America. This could really propel you in your future career in nonprofit fundraising or nonprofit management.
Please send us a short COVER LETTER along with your resume. We put a higher premium on cover letters than we do on resumes. Not including one is a big negative.
