This position is located in the Health Information Management department  of the Chula Vista Veterans Home and is responsible for  transcribing dictation of average difficulty from a dictation machine, as well as assisting with the screening of incoming Unit Health Records (UHRs), pulling of the UHR for clinics, physicians, nursing staff, etc. and miscellaneous filing.

Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.
