We seek a Maintenance Support Subject Matter Expert who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. As a team member, you will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Marine Corps’ concept-based Force Development led by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Combat Development & Integration (CD&I) . You will contribute towards designing and developing a modernized Marine Corps to campaign and win in an evolving threat environment. Your efforts will provide deployed MAGTFs with the capability to deny, deter, and, if necessary, defeat adversaries as part of a naval, joint, combined, and interagency campaign.

The Maintenance Support SME will conduct operator level maintenance/preventative maintenance of program assets and be the resident expert in maintenance management support.

Location:

• This position is located onsite in Quantico, VA

Salary:

• A salary range of $120,000-150,000 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general support to the Experiment Division, Field Testing Branch, as required.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on emerging capabilities related to Marine Corps wheeled vehicles.
• Participate in all planning, coordination, testing, and experimentation events.
• Develop recommendations for new techniques, TTPs, and experimental equipment integration across the DOTMLPF spectrum.
• Support external organizations (e.g., MCSC, MCCDC, ONR) by assisting in the determination of requirements and offering input on new vehicle systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all vehicles and equipment used by the Experiment Division.
• Ensure all modification controls are applied to Program of Record vehicles and equipment assigned to the Experiment Division.
• Perform required maintenance on experimental and emerging-technology vehicles and equipment; coordinate with field service representatives for specialized maintenance during experimentation events.
• Coordinate all maintenance functions, including identifying required supplies, conducting repairs, supporting planning efforts, and assisting training units with new experimental equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required
• Clearance: Secret required at start

Education and Experience:

• 5-12 years of relevant military experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proficiency with groupware applications (e.g. SHAREPOINT, MS Teams, PowerApps development) and the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
