A private family on the Upper East Side is seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced Live-In Nanny to care for their twin boys. The family is looking for someone who is engaging, flexible, and has prior experience with twins or children close in age (ideally 2-5 years old).

This position requires a trial period prior to hire. Candidates must also be comfortable around dogs, as the family has a large friendly dog (no pet care required).

Responsibilities

  • Provide loving, hands-on care for two active toddlers.
  • Manage daily routines including breakfast, school drop-off/pick-up, nap time, activities, dinner, and bedtime.
  • Engage the boys in active and imaginative play, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support with nursery organization, children’s laundry, and light household tasks related to the children (family has a full-time housekeeper).
  • Assist with meal prep and ensuring meals are served to the children (no cooking required).
  • Maintain structure and consistency while fostering a nurturing, fun environment.
  • Travel with the family domestically and internationally as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional nanny experience.
  • Prior experience caring for twins or multiple young children.
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
  • Passport-ready and comfortable with occasional domestic/international travel.
  • Energetic, playful, and proactive.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Open to candidates relocating.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, (live-in, weekends off)

Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits : $95,000–$115,000 DOE, health insurance, PTO, disability, discretionary bonus, and meal allowance.
