Job Description:
Required qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, retail, residential and institutional projects. Excellent spoken and written English skills, BSME, EIT/NYS licensure as a PE a plus, LEED AP desirable, must be familiar with the latest NYC Codes and LL 97, self-starter, team player, detail oriented a must. Site visits for surveying renovation projects at start up and to observe on-going construction are part of this position. The candidate must have technical familiarity with plumbing, sprinkler and fire alarm trades and be able to manage the design process and coordination of these.

Specific required technical design experience:
- Able to design VRF systems;
- Able to design hydronic heating systems of all types including experience with steam systems;
- Able to design ventilation systems including DOAS and DCV types;
- Able to design air filtration, sterilization and purification systems;
- Experience with chiller plant design;
Specific technical writing and analysis skills:
- Write due diligence reports on MEP/SP/FA building systems;
- Write systems comparison analyses to allow for the selection of the optimum HVAC system for any given application.
