Job Description

Our ministry, located in south Orange County, CA is adding a Graphic Designer to our growing team, supporting Daily Hope, Pastors.com, and Celebrate Recovery ministries. Our Graphics Designers craft high-quality graphic content for use on websites and social media platforms. This position will also post content to the company’s social media profiles and websites. Designer will employ their skills to create compelling graphics that drive traffic and boost conversions. They also need to possess marketing knowledge to create the most appropriate content for specific target audiences.

Essential Functions:

• Work with the marketing communications team to develop strategic digital assets for web, social media, email, and text campaigns, etc.
• Design original and update existing digital/print assets
• Maintain graphic asset file archive

Competencies/Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Lightroom is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to follow creative direction, develop creative concepts, and accept feedback
• Strong design sense and creativity with excellent typography, layout, and color skills
• Can manage design projects from start to finish
• Extremely organized with an ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Highly attentive to detail

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Travel:

Occasional travel is primarily local and during the business day.

Required Education or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design
• 2+ years of experience
• Previous experience in graphic design or other related fields
• Proficiency in Photoshop

Salary: $25-$27 per hour DOE
