Position Summary

Eula Blue is seeking a skilled HUD Fee Accountant (Consultant) to support municipal fee accounting, reconciliations, and HUD program compliance under CPA oversight.
This is a part-time, remote role ideal for professionals experienced in grant-funded or housing-related accounting who value flexibility and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly HUD fee accounting reports, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP and HUD Handbook 7475.1.
• Track and report restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring HUD and OMB Uniform Guidance compliance.
• Assist in preparing audit-ready schedules and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with the CPA Principal and CFO to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Maintain organized electronic records and financial documentation in a secure shared workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HUD, public housing authority, or grant-funded accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, HUD reporting, and federal compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and self-management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• CPA or prior experience under CPA oversight preferred, but not required.
