Summary

The Freight Forwarder, Xpress, will be responsible for managing and coordinating Xpress shipments while communication with customers and partners. This position requires strong communication and IT skills, as well as excellent communication skills to manage relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Timely and effective communication with Customers, partners & internal departments via e-mail & telephone. 
Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.
Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise.
General Day to Day administrative duties.

Educational background / Work Experience

Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience from courier company is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates.

Other Skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Be Customer focused with dedication in your service delivery to meet Customer needs.
Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required.

Knowledge of courier logistics and customs regulations
Understanding of trade laws and regulations

Language skills

Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $22.50 - $30.50 / Hourly.   Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
