Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Epicor P21 Administrator to manage and optimize our ERP system within the logistics industry. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of key business processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, supply chain operations, and financial reporting. The role is remote but requires occasional travel to corporate offices, distribution centers, or project sites. Responsibilities: - Administer and configure the Epicor Prophet 21 system, including user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings. - Optimize and maintain various modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Sales Orders, Pricing, Warehouse Management, and Financials. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee integrations and data flow. - Collaborate with Epicor support and external vendors to manage system upgrades, patches, and escalations. - Analyze and map business processes across departments to identify inefficiencies and design system improvements. - Translate business requirements into functional or technical specifications and implement changes. - Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making using P21 tools and Power BI. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity across customer files, pricing information, vendor records, and transactions. - Lead or support enhancement projects, module rollouts, and integrations with eCommerce and shipping systems. - Provide user training and create documentation to support onboarding and ongoing system use. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Epicor Prophet 21 in administration, configuration, or business analysis. - Familiarity with automotive distribution or high-volume environments such as aftermarket parts. - Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, pricing structures, and order fulfillment. - Proven ability to gather business requirements and implement process optimizations. - Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Crystal Reports. - Excellent communication and documentation skills to collaborate across teams. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting while traveling quarterly for on-site support and training. - Experience with system integrations, automated warehouse solutions, and eCommerce platforms is preferred.
