Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other electricians on job sites.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
• Provide mentorship to apprentices as needed.
• Complete work orders, reports, and other documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific requirement).
• Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience under a licensed electrician.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
