Summary

Transport students from area schools to day care center.
Ensure adherence to safety rules.
Additional duties may include helping in a classroom setting.
Split shift that includes early mornings and afternoons.

Duties

• Pick up and drop off students at area schools and transport them back to the child care center.
• Must be available early mornings and return in the afternoon.
• Follow safety rules related to transporting small children.
• Maintain accurate reports to ensure compliance with Bright from the Start regulations.
• Follow strict time schedules.
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain order among students during trips to ensure safety.
• Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures.
• Assist in a classroom setting as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum two years experience as a Day Care Van Driver
• Valid and Current Georgia Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Current CPR/First aid certification

Nice To Haves

• Current BFTS Transportation training
• Early childhood or School Age classroom experience
• CDA certification or higher
