Shifts: 12-Hour Shifts
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay: $35-$38 per hour for LPN If RN it does pay more (weekly pay)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Correctional Nurse for a 13-week contract position in a correctional facility. As a Travel RN/LPN , you will provide essential nursing care to inmates in a secure, challenging environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses who are looking for a new adventure while utilizing their clinical skills to serve a unique patient population.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional facility setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical provider
Monitor and assess inmate health conditions, documenting any changes
Respond to medical emergencies and assist with urgent care needs
Perform routine health screenings and exams
Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure that medical supplies and equipment are properly maintained
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and security protocols
Requirements:
Active and valid RN/LPN license
Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, with at least [X] years in a correctional or similar setting
Ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current BLS certification (required)
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility security requirements
