Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Concrete Superintendent to oversee daily operations across multiple concrete construction projects. This position is responsible for supervising field foremen, field crews and subcontractors, coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has strong leadership experience, and can balance hands-on field presence with professional communication and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise multiple project sites simultaneously, coordinating concrete pours, manpower, and equipment.

· Lead and support foremen in planning and executing daily activities.

· Monitor work progress, quality control, safety compliance, and schedule adherence.

· Interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents.

· Serve as the main point of contact between field operations and project managers or clients.

· Proactively resolve job site challenges, crew conflicts, and weather delays.

· Ensure that all equipment, materials, and labor are utilized efficiently.

· Track crew performance, approve timesheets, and support training or corrective action when needed.

· Conduct daily job site inspections and safety meetings.

· Coordinate with ready-mix suppliers, inspectors, subcontractors, and logistics personnel.

· Provide regular updates and documentation to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5–7 years of concrete construction experience, with at least 2–3 years in a superintendent or senior foreman role.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish – required for communication across diverse field teams.

· Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, site logistics, and job sequencing.

· Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.

· Ability to manage multiple crews and job sites under pressure.

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to job site safety.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Able to work early hours, overtime, and occasional weekends if required.
