Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) | Hudson, FL
Location: Hudson, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives:

  • CRT Pay Range: $24.63 – $34.48/hour (based on experience)

  • RRT Pay Range: $27.09 – $37.92/hour (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials: Nights +$4.50/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for full-time days (with 1 year of experience, 2-year commitment) | $20,000 for full-time nights (with 1 year of experience, 2-year commitment)

  • Relocation Assistance: Available case by case

Job Description



Overview

A leading acute care hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join its respiratory care team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing both routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures.

  • Set up and operate acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.

  • Evaluate and develop individualized respiratory care plans for patients.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and enter information into hospital systems.

  • Work independently in the absence of a full-time team leader while ensuring quality care delivery.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a vocational/technical program or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).

  • Current Florida State License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Required.

  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association – Required.

  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications – Required within 6 months of hire.

  • Ability to frequently stand, bend, reach, squat, and assist with patient movement.
