Job Description

The Data Science division is the epicenter of data analytics, uncovering impactful insights that put Aramark clients in the sports and entertainment industry ahead of the curve. Using leading-edge technology and analytics, Data Science synthesizes operational and consumer data to optimize strategies that enhance the guest hospitality experience and blaze a trail for innovation. Through continuous expansion of analytical capabilities and a comprehensive method of understanding the industry at large, Data Science harnesses the power of data as the most strategic asset in maximizing value for consumers, operators, and businesses alike.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and curious BI Analyst to join our team. This role blends analytical insight with scalable BI development. You will analyze trends and uncover insights to drive local business value, while also designing and building enterprise-ready solutions such as dashboards, AI agents, and operational tools using Power BI and other technologies. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of data storytelling and technical innovation, bringing curiosity and initiative to both local and enterprise projects.

This is a hybrid role based in the Houston area, with 2–3 days per week on-site at local venues (NRG Park, Daikin Park, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Constellation Field) and 2–3 days remote, focused on strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated, and intellectually curious. This candidate is someone who proactively seeks out opportunities, asks the right questions, and takes initiative to turn insights into action. While you’ll have strong support from the broader Data Science team, your day-to-day success will depend on your ability to operate autonomously and build strong relationships with local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational and consumer data (e.g., POS, labor, inventory) in the local market to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with local venue teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven strategies.
  • Design and develop scalable BI solutions including dashboards, AI agents, and operational tools using Power BI, Sigma, or other technologies.
  • Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure data models support both local and enterprise use cases.
  • Create and maintain automated reports and dashboards that are accurate, timely, and visually compelling.
  • Serve as a data steward, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
  • Support version control and collaborative development practices using Git or similar tools.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate the impact of operational strategies and pilot programs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both internal Aramark stakeholders and external clients, tailoring insights to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analytics or BI development role.
  • Willingness to work on a hybrid schedule in Texas, balancing in-office presence with remote flexibility as required by business needs.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus).
  • Strong experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with other BI Tools (e.g. Sigma, Qlik, Tableau),  interactive app development (e.g., Streamlit, RShiny), or building AI agents is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dbt, Python, and Git/version control is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hybrid, cross-functional environment.
