Qualifications:
Duties/Job Responsibilities: In accordance with BACB guidelines, BCBAs will be providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) that are on assignment.
Supervision layout could be as follows, but will be up to BCBA to work out:
Each month, the BCBA will meet with the RBTs at least once in a small group format to review Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions, task list items, professional and ethical compliance guidelines, and the RBT handbook. This meeting will be held outside of classroom time and without the student.
Once a week, the BCBA will meet with each RBT individually while they apply ABA strategies with their student to ensure effective practices and compliance with the BACB standards.
BCBA and RBTs will meet regularly to ensure that they are meeting the required minimum 5% supervision required by the BACB.
