About the Role

As a Benefit Service Center Representative, you will be a key player in processing commercial benefits and ensuring accuracy in a regularly audited environment where quality is prioritized over quantity . You will be handling a mix of inbound calls and membership processing, playing a crucial role in the financial aspects of our operations.

Top Daily Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls from members.
  • Performing membership processing tasks.
  • Preparing and validating information.
  • Engaging in finance-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • 1+ year of Call Center Experience (Inbound/Outbound)
  • 6+ months of Data Entry Experience (alpha-numeric)
  • Excellent Attendance History: We have very strict expectations for call-outs and tardiness.
  • Must pass required assessments.

Highly Preferred:

  • Healthcare administration experience.
  • Outgoing calls or call center experience.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented mindset.
  • Some experience with cash handling (e.g., accounting, Bank Teller, Cashier, Ledger).
  • Knowledge of ORACLE Revenue Management Billing.
  • Customer-Centric Service Model.

Schedule & Location

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (may vary slightly upon completing training).
  • Contract Duration: 9 months to start, with the possibility to extend or apply for permanent positions.
  • Onsite Location: 8954 Rio San Diego Drive, 3rd floor, San Diego, CA 92108.
  • Remote Possibility: Once you are up and running and your Quality Assurance (QA) scores meet operational standards, and with Operations Manager approval, there is a possibility to work remotely (typically after 90 days, but not guaranteed).

Important Expectations Regarding Time Off

  • NO Time Off during the two-week training period from your start date.
  • NO Time Off during the first 90 days of the assignment. This includes doctor’s appointments. If time off is needed during this period, the candidate will not be a good fit for this contract.
  • NO Time Off during holidays (federal holidays are the only exception).
