Assistant Facility Manager

We’re hiring a hands-on, leadership-driven Assistant Facility Manager to support and oversee daily maintenance and repair operations for a military housing community. This role blends operational oversight with field-based leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in an active environment, enjoys building relationships, and can effectively lead maintenance teams across a large property footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, field teams, and service delivery across the military housing site
• Conduct physical inspections to ensure quality upkeep of assets and equipment
• Collaborate with the Senior Facilities Director to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction
• Mentor and supervise maintenance personnel; develop a motivated and high-performing team
• Coordinate with both military stakeholders and internal leadership for project alignment
• Uphold and improve operational policies to enhance service and safety

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in facility or property maintenance leadership, preferably in a military or residential setting
• Proven ability to supervise teams, delegate tasks, and optimize daily operations
• Solid knowledge of building systems, OSHA standards, and maintenance best practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience preferred
